why i do, what i do.

Growing up on a farm in rural Northern California  taught me three things:
one --  God is above all. Two -- that this country is free, because of the brave.
And three -- every person who God has made to walk this earth has got a story to tell. These are the three things that are why I do, what I do. 

I am a God-fearing, opinionated, highly passionate, imperfect, but faithful woman. Knowing that there are thousands of men who have died for this nation, on the grounds of keeping freedom in our hands, I find my purpose in capitalizing on those liberties by having the courage to be self-employed by the means of telling people's unique stories, and sharing the Lord where I can. 

The photography world in media is heavily saturated, so I am not here to say that my skills are better than someone else. However, what I can and will say, is that my heart and my drive for this job, is greater than most which sets me apart from the rest. 

I truly have a love for visual storytelling and creative directing when I hear inspiring personal stories, unique business ventures,  and passion projects, waiting to be told, within the ag industry and western way of life. I wouldn't be where I am without growing up on the property pictured behind this text and I attribute all of my love of imagery, sunsets, and imagineering of life to the little 10 acre farm of Orchard House.
